She emerges from the shadows into the light as she heads for the surface. The hook in her mouth is unfortunate, but it shouldn't slow her down much. After time, it may deteriorate and fall out. The 9 or 10 foot monofilament line that streams along side her though, will last for about 600 years!! Guadalupe Island, Mexico

The wire coral is a great place to look for shrimp and gobies. When ever I do find a goby, they tend to dodge my camera lens, making them hard to photograph. When they are translucent, like this one, it is even harder.
